If I look tired, scraggly, and bloated.....I am....D. was laughing he said I look like a huge ball on top of two sticks....not sure how much bigger that belly can get with 3 weeks to go. We spent 5hrs at the hospital last Friday due to my BP being 152/92 but thankfully it went back down and I was sent home. Now I'm on semi house arrest and we'll see what the MD says tomorrow but right now my BP is back to a normal range.....
We finally got our furniture. So here are some pics of the nursery. Yep, I know it's blue but so is the sky. So IF it is a girl she'll have to live with it until she demands otherwise....
And no, I promise we have no idea if it's a boy or girl. Can't wait to find out.....

Merry Christmas everyone. As is tradition, D. had duty and I went up to the Air station for Christmas dinner. Above the crew is setting the table.... D. made a turkey, we also had ham, potatoes, green beans, cheesecake and so on. It was perfect, I didn't have to cook or to clean up, so it doesn't get much better than that......

Since it was so nice out we went for a walk on the beach yesterday...nothing like going to the beach in December.....
Unlike summertime it's nice and quiet now without all of the tourists.

Our wild kitten sleeping in the tree. He looks pretty comfy....

Mary B., a friend we know from Detroit, decided to throw me a little lunch/mini baby shower with some of the spouses from the Air station......Nope, no shower games....
We met at a little cafe downtown and the food and cake were very yummy...no pics of me..I was too busy catching everyone else one camera while they were eating....

Other updates.....it's currently 81F here and just like in Kodiak everyone will tell you: "It's never like this in December"...but we're not complaining I don't miss putting on those ice cleats to go outside. According to my MD baby Townsend is allowed to arrive after next Wed. but so far no indication that an early arrival is in store. Also, our friends little guy is turning 1 today, so happy birthday R. I can't believe it's his first birthday already. And lastly, I should have listened when everyone told me to get all of the baby shopping done early.......I'm just not quite happy about standing in long pre-Christmas lines at this point....

Last night was the Air station's x-mas party. I almost had to wear flip flops since I can't fit into my shoes anymore......but that's OK only 37 days to go....We also took a baby class yesterday and D. did much better with the fake baby than I did. I guess you shouldn't pick it up by one leg.....

Everyone had a lot of fun but I chose not to join the "train" this year.

First attempt of deep frying a turkey for Thanksgiving. Thankfully we did not have to use the fire extinguisher.....

The finished product. The turkey turned out really good and we'll have to do it again, soon.
We put up our tree today and to no surprise Farrell decided it was his new favorite cat toy. Here he is halfway up the tree. Luckily Sasha did not try to follow him up there.....

Some days I wonder how it got from this (see above).......

to this.....I'm amazed by how big my belly is getting...only 60 days to go but the Doc said I could start trying to talk the baby into coming out in about 5.5 weeks so we'll see....and we still haven't really gone shopping for baby stuff......

More cute and fuzzy kitten pics.....oh he has a name now D. named him Farrell....

The newest member.....no name, yet. This is a kitten that came from one of the many feral cat colonies around here. And he really likes my fuzzy, pink slippers.

Sasha was NOT happy look at his face.... I'd love to know what he's thinking....he didn't even want a treat.

And he's even more upset about the little guy invading his favorite spot.

I wonder if a new cat hierarchy has already been established....poor Mittens is still on the bottom....
He figured out the cool water fountain right away.

Since I have my husband back again we decided to go see the Wormsloe historic site today.
This is how big houses used to be back then. I bet you they didn't have any utility bills...

Does this baby make me look fat???? I don't think it's the camera that's adding 10lbs...

This used to be Noble Jones's house in 1733. He is one of the founders of Savannah and the house was built from a mixture of limestone and seashells which is called tabby...

I had some friends here visiting from P-cola this week. It was also the first time I got to meet little R. Unfortunately D. couldn't be here.
Among other places we went to Fort Pulaski which was pretty interesting.
Baby prison....I have a feeling he could squeeze through there if he wanted to....

R. found D's crocs and had lots of fun walking around in them....he's just sooo cute....

He did not quite know what to think of the Treadmill......We learned that the Bulldog Mascot at Fort Stewart was designed by Disney....however, if you'd see the Bulldog's behind you would start to wonder what Disney was thinking.....
It's a plane, it's a train, it's the Goodyear Blimp....oh no I guess that's me.....90 days till D-day...

Full moon over the beach. Some may hate me now but when it's 79F and windy it feels a little cool....
Yes, cold enough to wear a sweater....C. and I went to the North beach grill for dinner...and the food was very tasty.....however, anything eatable taste good to me these days...

I decided it was time for the hair to come off.....so I could donate it to Locks of Love. To my surprise the salon ended up not charging me for the haircut.

People told me not to cut my hair while pregnant (I guess 'cause your more emotional) but I was extremely happy to do so. It's only hair after all. So now I must enjoy my hair for a minute because I'll never get it to look that nice and straight again.....

As you can see above we went to the Savannah Oktoberfest this weekend.
Lots and lots of people and vendors....and of course Brats....
The Wiener races were pretty funny I guess they had a record number of dogs entering this year.
Most of them just started playing instead of racing to the other side while their frustrated owners were screaming from the sidelines.

We also stopped at the Aquarium.
Now that's a scary looking fish....
The turtle was my favorite....
We also walked the nature trail which was very pretty....and saw some BIG spiders....
and lots of birds. D. is off to the boat on Monday....the birthday curse never fails, so this time he won't be here for his....
