Deer on my front porch. I can basically pet them through the widow..... I know some of you are thinking DINNER but I just think they're CUTE.
I will miss stuff like this when we move to Savannah but instead I'll get to see Alligators, Rattlesnakes, and lots of spiders including Black widows......which are NOT cute; however, Alligator and Rattlesnake can be pretty tasty. So until then I'm enjoying my time with these deer.
Paper chain: Angela made me a paper chain! It has a link with the date and little comments for everyday until we leave Kodiak. So each day I get to take off a link and hand it to someone.......
As promised here are pics from our last day in Cancun. We went out on a Trimaran (seen in back) and then we jumped in the ocean and went snorkeling around.
I was hanging onto D. most of the time because I really don't like fish unless they are cooked and on a dinner plate....
I couldn't see the Stingray but I guess here it is.
The friendly snorkeling guide kept throwing food in the water to attracted more fish. I was to busy trying to get away as fast as possible.
What goes up must come down. I don't think he knew how high he had to jump from. He was trying to talk me into going up but I'm completely happy staying down here!
After the snorkeling we went Jet skiing. Good thing D. is a great backseat driver I couldn't steer the thing at all. However, sitting in front means that you get the brunt of all the water splashing up....
It can get windy and as you can see our friends left and the weather got worse...figures.
We're still trying to get back into the groove here in Kodiak but it's almost pointless since we'll be beginning our adventure driving from Alaska to Georgia.........should be interesting.
