I know it's baby pic overload but here she is at the pediatric appointment....yep she was just thrilled to be there.
Poor D. had a long night last night, since she's got her days and nights confused he stayed up with her for most of it....and this is where she's happy.....so I sit here and keep and eye on the big sleepy and mini me....well mini D. that is...

Somebody feed me, feed me now, right now I tell you......

D's mom and S. came down from MI to visit..... I hope they had fun meeting their new granddaughter...

And here is the nice Dr. that sliced me open in order to make Sara come out....her outfit is way too big but we don't have to many winter clothe for her and it suddenly got cold.

One week old and in the helicopter already.....

See she is a little co-pilot....not sure she'd stay awake long enough to man the controls...

It's amazing how tiny her hands are compared to D's.

Leaving the hospital on Tuesday....I felt to bloated and full of water and it was a bit scary to leave the hospital safety net.....


You are probably wondering about the going home outfit.....it looks like it's from the 70's and indeed it is. This is the same outfit I wore 35 years ago when my parents got me, and yes it was a bit emotional having her wear it....

Dad loves his little girl and she likes to lay on his chest.


Dad and mini me... I think she does look like him. D. has become totally Daddyfied. Hes' been so great with her and with helping me as well.


Every once in a while I get to hold her, too. I am still amazed that this little miracle is ours to keep.


I love these little feet and we are so happy that she turned out healthy and that her kidneys are fine.

Someone was hungry when we took this one...it looks like she's wearing a shirt but those are all wrinkles. OK enough baby photos right now but there'll be plenty more....

Quick update:
We made it home! It's quite exciting to finally have our little girl with us....I'm sure at some point the blog will get quite picture heavy but it might be a little while until I have the energy to post more pics......

Introducing Sara Mackenzie......born Sunday 1/11 at 310am Wt. 7lbs 11oz and 19 inches long.

I'm not sure she's mine because she looks just like D.

And this is how she got here....after 23 hrs of labor followed by a surprise but at that point welcome C-section. I'm up and about and all of us are doing fine.....more pics will follow, soon...

I'm telling you Farrell will sleep anywhere....he's like a heating, massaging neck cushion.

I know exactly how to banish that belly we just have to get baby to cooperate.....we'll keep you updated....PS: belly circumference 47 inches.....so all of you guessed wrong....
