We heard a rumor that Mel Gibson's yacht was in town. I guess if you need to run away you would go to the end of the earth um, I mean Kodiak. So of course we had to go and check it out. Do you believe he had a helo on the back. The things money can buy....and the name of the ship "Triton Bikini"....whatever!!! PS: I stand corrected I guess the Triton belongs to the Baldwin Family....oh well same thing. I searched it online so who really knows....
This is our new boat...I wish. I wonder how much a yacht like this would cost. That's it I am boycotting all movies from now on. These guys make way too much money. These are the sea lions down by the docks. Aren't they cute? They are just sun bathing and do not seem to have a care in the world. And then we went to the touch tank at the fishery. Beth is holding a Seacucumber those things are very soft and kinda gross. Yap they look like it, too. We learned a lot today. For example that crabs shed their shells and are soft-crabs for a while until they harden and grow into a bigger shell, who knew.
I have a star...fish that is or two of them they are not soft at all but feel more like rocks. Weird!


This is a real life octopus....we got to touch him and everything. Those suction cups actually feel like it and even make a popping sound when you pull them off. How cool is that. Usually you can't touch him but since it was only adults the guy let us go in the other room to pet him.. only in Kodiak.
