One more note here are 10 things I'll miss about Kodiak:
10. The way the sun hits the snowy mountains
9. The general feeling of safety
8. The slow pace
7. Fire pits
6. All the animals including deer in the yard
5. Bears crossing the road in front of us
4. No traffic lights
3. neverending daylight during summer
2. The short commute to work
1. Our great friends

On the other hand some things I just won't miss quite as much:

10. Having to buy something you really don't need right now just in case they won't get another order EVER
9. Ordering an item from the exchange which 2years later has still not arrived
8. The limited choice of restaurants
7. The fact that the road just ends
6. Paying a fortune and traveling for days to get somewhere
5. Offroading everyday due to the construction at the Y
4. Having to wear ice cleats for 7+months
3. The lack of salt on the roads
2. The lack of daylight during winter
1. The RAIN
