Mount Rushmore, SD. It took 14 yrs to create this. We almost stayed and extra day to see the fireworks but it was a people zoo already and they expected >20 000 for the fireworks.

We also went to see the Crazy Horse memorial but apparently $20 only get you to the parking lot and stores and not to the actual unfinished memorial. We refused to pay more money just to get on a bus to drive closer.
