A wonderful sunny day in Kodiak. I went out on a boat with a few of my friends."Das Boot"....... Just kidding...Here are Heidi and Lisa paddling along in what Heidi calls the "Dingie" or something like that. We spotted 3 bears on shore and those two talked me into going with them. I refused to get any closer to shore and had them dropp me off at the real boat.
We saw quite a few whales but unfortunately Devin took the good camera and left me with the "not so good" one.
All those litttle heads sticking out of the water are sea otters. There were hundreds of them just bopping around.

All of the white spots are Kittiwakes which are a part of the seabird/gull family. Thousands of them just nesting and flying around. Pretty impressive..........as you can see this was a great day in Kodiak.
